The Player Info Window gives you fast access to the stats of your units and all neutral units, and cities. The Player Army list is a Army List of every unit in the players army. Arranging units in this list affects the default order of combat. The City Info button tells you the commodity stores in each city.

Clicking on any button displays information about that type of unit.
Clicking on a unit in the stat chart brings up a description of that unit type.
With City Info on:
Clicking on a city brings up the local map and takes you to that city.
Option-Clicking brings up that cities build dialog box.
